I prepared for twins with a toddler by my feet, yet somehow made it all come together when they arrived at 37.5 weeks. I realized pretty quickly though, that even though I had a singleton, having twins was a whole new ball game.
When Should You Be Ready for Twins?
Where you are in your twin pregnancy plays a part in how ready you should be. Preparing for twins in the first trimester is different than preparing for twins in the third trimester.
And while there’s no magic number, we do know that twins tend to come earlier, with the average twin gestation to be around 36 weeks. To minimize stress in the 3rd trimester, preparing everything for twins by 30 weeks is usually a safe bet.
Remember – no matter how you score on the quiz, if you’re having twins, Twin Winning has the tips, resources, checklists, and strategies to get you even closer to being ready for twins!
