Week 30 Twin Pregnancy Experience
The comfortable part of pregnancy has come to an end, my friends. In my week 30 twin pregnancy experience, I realize this pregnancy has definitely shifted into the uncomfortable zone.
Sore back, sore hips, an overwhelmingly heavy feeling…they’ve arrived, with all the joys that accompany them. The interesting part? There are still 8 WEEKS LEFT TO GO. Oh boy, this is going to be interesting.

As I sit here typing, I feel the skin on the right side of my stomach stinging (aka, likely tearing), and the skin on the left side itching. It’s not the kind of itching that you can satisfy either, as it almost feels numb. And…it’s going to get worse. I have some tricks up my sleeve recapped in the top 10 essentials to thrive in your twin pregnancy, but I don’t know how long they’ll last.
In other news, there’s only one more full week of office work to go. Time truly has flown, and it’s crazy to think I’ll be on leave soon. It’s always exciting when you wrap up and transition off projects, and the sense of closure feels great. My excitement is tempered, however.
Will I miss the office and get bored just shortly after wrapping up? And will they still remember the great things I accomplished? Will the role have as much clout as before I took off?
My career is important to me. The fact of the matter is, going on leave for any reason can feel vulnerable. All I can do is keep in touch with the office and stay as looped in as I can (while running around after three little ones!).
